Making Websites Accessible

A non-technical introduction to designing and publishing accessible websites by Jim Byrne. This guide tells you the things you need to know before you start to build your website.

This guide is a very useful introduction for beginners to accessible web design; but it also contains lots of good tips and ideas for more experienced web designers.

Making Websites Accessible was first published by The Scottish Accessible Information Forum (SAIF). Thanks to SAIF for giving permission to reproduce the guide on the Making Connections Website. And thanks to Eva Bolander for the 'marking up' these pages.
